Stephen King will continue his year of domination with 2 new film adaptations coming to Netflix in the very near future. Gerald’s Game, directed by Mike Flanagan (Oculus, Ouija: Origin of Evil) is coming to the streaming giant on September 29th; we just saw the first trailer for that film last week. The other King property being reimagined on Netflix is 1922, directed by Zak Hilditch; 1922 hits Netflix on October 20th. The trailer just arrived online this afternoon, and we’re happy to share it with you now. Have a look-see:
Official Synopsis: 1922 is based on Stephen King’s 131-page story telling of a man’s confession of his wife’s murder. The tale is told from the perspective of Wilfred James, the story’s unreliable narrator who admits to killing his wife, Arlette, in Nebraska. But after he buries her body, he finds himself terrorized by rats and, as his life begins to unravel, he becomes convinced his wife is haunting him. Life is rarely fair.
1922 stars Thomas Jane, Molly Parker, and Neal McDonough.
