Even before Mrs. Voorhees baby boy became the scourge of Camp Crystal Lake, Friday the 13th was a day shrouded in fear and superstition. Chances are, we all know somebody who’s hiding under their bed today, lest a black cat crosses their path while walking under a ladder and stepping on a crack! 13 is an unlucky number and, for whatever reason, combining the digit with a Friday is a recipe for disaster.
