Horror fans who haven’t checked out Black Mirror on Netflix are hereby encouraged to do so; the anthology series definitely leans towards the sci-fi side of the horror spectrum, but each installment explores the darkest aspects of technology and dehumanization—terrifying themes indeed. There are 3 seasons, but they’re short with only 13 episodes total making it the perfect candidate for weekend binge session.
Season 4 of Black Mirror is in the works, with 2 directors announced so far. First, Jodie Foster will direct the season premiere starring Rosemarie DeWitt. The 2nd director just revealed, is David Slade who has signed on for an episode with title and synopsis withheld. Horror fans know Slade best for helming the revenge-horror shocker Hard Candy and 2007’s 30 Days of Night. He’s also directed episodes of TV’s Hannibal and the new American Gods.

Each story features its own cast of unique characters, including stars like Bryce Dallas Howard (“The Help”), Alice Eve, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Tom Cullen and Jerome Flynn (“Game of Thrones”).
