The folks who turned the dilapidated gas station for 1974’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre into a family-friendly horror destination are throwing an event this fall you won’t want to miss. The Cult Classic Convention goes down in Bastrop, Texas (just a hop and a skip from the Gas Station) from September 29th through October 1st. Check out the official convention description below.
Per Cult Classic Convention’s Official Website:
Entrepreneurs Roy and Lisa Rose had a great desire to bring the fans of Horror and Cult Classics together, in a friendly space to experience all forms from different cult genres; including Art, Collectibles, Props, and Celebrity Guest.
Roy and Lisa Rose partnered up with Edwin Neal and Theresa Jara to bring you The Cult Classic Convention in Bastrop, Texas. Home of several film sites including horror films “Friday the 13th 2009″, “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” and “Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2”.
Having experience with more than 40 years of attending shows as a vendor, fan, and guest we are all working together to give what we would want when attending a convention. Food is one of our main focuses. We will have BBQ made on site from The Gas Station along with other food choices.
