One of the dozens of American Idol knock-off that endures into the 2010’s is America’s Got Talent, a competition opened to singers, dancers, and thespians of all medium vying for prizes & a shot at fame and fortune. America’s Got Talent had international counterparts, most notably Britain’s Got Talent which launched with Simon Cowell on its jury and inspired a craze over ugly-duckling songstress Susan Boyle.
Recently, an episode of Asia’s Got Talent gave its audience more than it bargained for. A young illusionist named Riana looks like a ghostly cousin of Samara from The Ring, and her bag of tricks pushed some to the brink of panic. As her audition progresses, the camera shows some in the crowd visibly shaken, including a man who burst into spontaneous prayer! Have a look-see:
