UPDATED 5/2/17: My bad, folks–it’s Glenda from Seed of Chucky. Sorry!
So the question now becomes: Will Glen/Glenda be making a reappearance in Cult of Chucky? Let’s discuss!
Don Mancini posted a photo on Twitter late last night; it didn’t have any text, but the implications are vast, as it pertains to the upcoming Curse of Chucky, the 7th installment in the wildly successful Child’s Play franchise launched by Tom Holland and Mancini in 1988. It recently wrapped filming in Vancouver with the goal of arriving on VOD in time for Halloween. This one sees Mancini back in the director’s chair (he also directed 2012’s Curse of Chucky) and the film looks to encapsulate the entire franchise while upping the terror ante for the 21st Century!
We’ve known Jennifer Tilly would be involved from the get-go, as the actress Tweeted her time on set last month. What hasn’t been revealed, though, is whether Tilly will be resurrecting the role of Chucky’s Bride Tiffany in the flesh, in doll form, or both. The aforementioned Tweet from Mancini seems to put the speculation to rest:
In other words: She’s back!

Official Synopsis: “Confined to an asylum for the criminally insane for the past four years, Nica Pierce (Fiona Dourif) is erroneously convinced that she, not Chucky, murdered her entire family. But when her psychiatrist introduces a new therapeutic “tool” to facilitate his patients’ group sessions — an all-too-familiar “Good Guy” doll with an innocently smiling face — a string of grisly deaths begins to plague the asylum, and Nica starts to wonder if maybe she isn’t crazy after all. Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent), Chucky’s now-grown-up nemesis from the original Child’s Play, races to Nica’s aid. But to save her he’ll have to get past Tiffany (Oscar-nominee Jennifer Tilly), Chucky’s long-ago bride, who will do anything, no matter how deadly or depraved, to help her beloved devil doll.”
