In addition to getting us psyched up for the Twin Peaks Revival, premiering this Sunday at 9 PM, Showtime wants to remind horror fans about one of their past successes: The serial-killer drama Dexter, which is available for the network’s subscribers to stream. Their latest trailer for the return of David Lynch’s seminal, game-changing TV series is a mash-up of Agent Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) doing Dexter’s (Michael C. Hall) infamous morning ritual.
Is there a hidden message to this duel promo? Does this insinuate that we’ll be dealing with a new, evil Cooper when the show returns on Sunday? Is “Good Cooper” still trapped in The Black Lodge? Time will tell (and luckily, we don’t have much longer to wait!).
